Congratulations to Tony Cragg, renowned sculptor, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of Her Majesty´s Birthday.

Open Lecture

After the opening Tony Cragg held an open lecture at Etnografiska Museet talking about his work.
I think that sculpture is a kind of sensitizing activity and that it has a role in being a catalyst that may lead to more sensitive thinking. It’s a materialist’s too, which I would hope would also lead to a more open-minded approach to the world around us.”

H.R.H. Prince Daniel of Sweden opens the sculpture exhibition. Opening speach by Kerstin Brunnberg (President Djurgårdens Hembygdsförening), Thomas Norell (Royal Djurgården Administration), Sara Sandström Nilsson (gallery owner), Stefan Andersson (gallery owner) and Tony Cragg.

OPEN LECTURE: Open lecture by Tony Cragg at The Museum of Ethnography, Sunday June 5th at 2 pm. Free entrance, limited seating.
